Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
$600 per session for hair restoration
$650 per session in combination with Microneedling
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a cutting-edge, minimally invasive treatment that uses your body’s own healing properties to rejuvenate skin, stimulate hair growth, or accelerate tissue repair.
How It Works
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) utilizes nutrients within your own blood to rejuvenate the skin and hair. This treatment is considered safe and effective for patients with all skin types, as it uses no foreign materials and is minimally invasive. You can add PRP to your microneedling treatment or use PRP for hair restoration
What to Expect
-
• Hydrate well — Drink plenty of water for several days before your appointment; hydrated blood yields better plasma.
• Avoid blood thinners (like aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, or alcohol) for 24–48 hours prior, unless otherwise directed by your doctor.
• Arrive makeup-free if your PRP is for the face or scalp. Your provider may apply a topical numbing cream or local anesthetic before treatment to maximize comfort.
-
• Blood Draw: A small amount of blood (typically one vial) is taken from your arm—similar to a routine blood test.
• Centrifugation: The sample is placed in a centrifuge, which spins it to separate the platelet-rich plasma from red and white blood cells.
• Application: The PRP is then injected or microneedled into the treatment area (face, scalp, neck, etc.). For skin treatments, it may be combined with microneedling to enhance absorption. For hair restoration, it’s injected directly into thinning areas of the scalp.
• You may feel mild pressure or warmth, but most patients find it easily tolerable.
-
• Expect redness, swelling, or sensitivity at the treatment area for 1–3 days.
• Avoid touching, washing, or applying makeup to the treated area for at least 12–24 hours.
• Skip vigorous exercise, saunas, or sun exposure for a day or two.
• Hydrate and nourish your body—this helps your plasma do its best healing work.
-
• Skin treatments: Subtle improvement in tone, texture, and radiance begins within 2–3 weeks, with continued collagen remodeling over several months.
• Hair restoration: New growth typically appears after 2–3 sessions spaced about a month apart.
