Mary Claire Sheridan, FNP, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Catholic University of America and her Master's degree from Georgetown University. After beginning her nursing career in the ICU at The George Washington University Hospital, she discovered her passion for aesthetic medicine and has spent the last four years helping patients feel confident in their own skin.
Mary Claire is certified in injectables such as neuromodulators and dermal fillers. She also is a certified provider for our mJoule Sciton BBL® and Moxi® laser treatments. She also has extensive experience with microneedling, PRFM and chemical peels. She believes in natural, refreshed results that enhance your features while still looking like you. Known for her warm and approachable personality, she loves creating personalized treatment plans and building lasting relationships with her patients.
Her favorite treatment at Defy is the BBL/Moxi combination for its ability to improve skin tone, texture, pigmentation, and overall glow. Her skincare philosophy is simple: consistency is key. You'll often hear her remind patients, "Never skip your Shield SPF and always make time for your Daily Dose."
Mary Claire lives in Chevy Chase with her husband and their two miniature Australian Shepherds, Piper and Sadie. Outside of work, she enjoys strength training, Pilates, baking sourdough bread, and finding home design inspiration on Pinterest.
