Katharine (Vincent) Kuhnsman, FNP-BC, is the founder of Defy Aesthetic LLC. A Maryland native, Katharine grew up always knowing she was meant to be in the medical field. This instinct lead her to nursing school at Villanova, working in the NICU at Georgetown and finally to graduate school at Columbia University to become a Nurse Practitioner. While living in New York City, Katharine was able to work alongside a very reputable Plastic Surgeon which sparked her love for aesthetic medicine. The aesthetic field combined two of her favorite passions: art and medicine.
Katharine is certified in injectables such as Botox, Juvederm, Voluma, Kybella, Restylane and Dysport. Her aesthetic eye in combination with her belief that injectables should always look natural leaves clients very satisfied with their results. She also provides micro-needling with or without platelet rich plasma (PRP), chemical peels and microinfusion, all of which are great ways to help improve skin tone and texture.
With her knowledge of medicine and intensive care background, Katharine strives to provide the best treatment experience possible. Her love for skincare also led her to develop a customized skincare product line exclusively for her clients. Her goal is to help people to exude the best possible version of themselves because she believes: “if you look your best, you feel your best!”
